Should I get tested for Tuberculosis?

You should get tested for the TB bacteria if you:

• Live or have visited somewhere outside of the United States where the TB disease is common
• Been to places in the United States where there are higher rates of the TB disease like: homeless shelters, farm camps, prisons, or some nursing homes.
